The Sheriff’s Office is allowing residents to register their home or business surveillance cameras, in case they need video help to solve crimes. Officers are aware that this causes some privacy concerns, but they say that this registry will NOT allow access to live video feeds, but will let them know where cameras are situated so that they can ask the owner for footage.
