A stray cat called “fat cat” in Gatlinburg came face-to-face with a black bear the other day and managed to scare it away! A woman named Suzanne caught it all on video and says the cat showed up shortly after the wildfires and has been a part of their family since. This isn’t her first run-in with bears.. Suzanne says she’s known for swatting at them and even chasing the bears down the trail!
