The Tennessee Highway Patrol is making sure their troopers are properly equipped for the roads.
They just ordered more than 1200 portable breath test devices. This comes after a bunch of sober folks were arrested for DUIs in the last couple years. The highway patrol stopped administering breathalyzers and was relying on other field tests alone, which doesn’t always give you an accurate understanding of what’s going on.
