You may wanna make a day trip out to Cookeville this Summer. A donut shop may be the latest to join the National Register of Historic Places!
Opened in 1962, Ralph’s Donuts has been a community staple for over 60 years and the new owners made sure to preserve the history of the building and shop after purchasing it in 2020. Now, the Tennessee Historical Commission chose it as 1 of 4 nominations to be listed as historic. The National Park Service will make a final decision at some point in the near future.
