Over in Germantown, a historic home has been turned into a new cocktail lounge.
The Demure Cocktail Lounge will open in mid-November in a home that’s 127 years old. Crews are working hard to preserve the home’s history, using original beams, nails and more. Apparently while they’ve been doing the renovations, a carpenter found original wood planks with square-head nails from 1899.
He restored them and incorporated them into the new bar for the lounge!
