We knew this could be a possibility and now an environmental study is raising those concerns.
An environmental study is warning that digging for the Music City Loop could open up sinkholes across Nashville. The study looked into the bedrock of Nashville and found that this type of rock called Karst is easily dissolved by water and with groundwater and how quickly it moves, it could create voids and potentially sinkholes.
I’m not trying to pretend that I know about any of this stuff, but it is a very interesting read.
