A WWII-era ship will be in Middle TN over the next few weeks.
This is your chance walk around and tour a piece of history. The USS LST-325 is the last fully operational World War 2 Landing Ship in its’ original configuration in the US. It’s based in Evansville, Indiana and is now a floating museum. They’re doing their annual cruise which will bring it through Hendersonville, Ashland City and Clarksville.
Starting tomorrow through September 29th it’ll be over at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville before docking at River Bluff Park in Ashland City from October 1st through 6th. After that it’ll travel to McGregor Park and Cumberland Riverwalk in Clarksville.
