We’re just a couple short weeks away from Nashville’s newest festival, honoring local folklore.
Donelson’s Knoblin Fest will have its’ inaugural celebration on October 3rd, but preparation is underway now. The “knoblin” is a mythical creature that apparently used to steal crops from people in the Todd’s Knob area of Donelson. People would leave offerings for the knoblin to take in hopes that he wouldn’t steal their crops.
It’s pretty interesting and perfect for getting into spooky season. The Knoblin Fest is free and will have over 80 vendors and musicians.
