A new change has been made in how Tennessee officials can light the State Capitol with special lighting.
As of yesterday, if the governor, speaker of the House and speaker of the Senate agree, the color at the Capitol can be changed without a commission meeting. Earlier this year, they changed the policy to keep it white rather than change it for special occasions, but after the passing of Dolly, it’s getting changed again.
