These new benches are combating loneliness in Franklin.
“Happy to Chat” benches are popping up around town to help residents make connections and start conversations with each other. There are 8 benches located around Franklin and basically, if you’re looking for some human interaction, you can go and sit on one and hope that somebody else comes by.
The heat will probably play a big role into this right now, so you may need to wait until cooler weather, but this is such a great idea.
