Demi Lovato is not only “Confident,” she’s also “Cool” — for the summer, of course. And she’s just received some major sales awards for both those songs.
“Confident” and “Cool for the Summer” have both been RIAA-certified five-times Platinum, meaning each of those songs has sold 5 million units. Both songs are from her 2015 album Confident. The album itself has been RIAA-certified Platinum.
Demi received special plaques marking these achievements right before she walked the red carpet at the Camp Rock 3 premiere. As previously reported, Demi co-executive produced the film and also reprises her role as Mitchie Torres in the film.
Meanwhile, Demi and her husband, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, celebrated their first wedding anniversary in May. Speaking to People about what she’s learned in that year, she said, “When you’re able to communicate with each other what you need, what you want, it creates a safe space for the two of you to share your feelings with one another.”
“My love for Jordan grows every single day, and I’ve never been so happy in my life. So I think communication is a big part of that.”
