As students return to school, there are new state laws that apply. One restricts digital-device use in kindergarten through fifth-grade classrooms. Another requires schools to provide child-trafficking awareness and prevention instruction to students. And students in grades 6-12 may transfer schools once during the summer between school years and be immediately eligible to play sports without a change of address.
