Sumner County announced this last week and now, Robertson County and Cheatham County Schools are following suit.
School lunch costs are being raised in order to keep their programs sustainable. This is Robertson County’s first meal price change in 14 years, but luckily it isn’t drastic. Student lunches will go up 25 cents and staff lunch up by 50 cents.
Cheatham County made a similar move, with student lunch costing $4 and Adult lunch $6. They’re encouraging families to look into their free or reduced lunch programs to see if they qualify.
