Later this month, a group of local songwriters are attempting to break a world record.
The Guinness World Records people created a new category specific to songwriting and now 100 songwriters will try to establish the record for “largest- attended Nashville writers’ round.” 100 songwriters will perform 100 original songs across 10 songwriter rounds in one single evening.
It’ll be next Friday, July 17th at Brooklyn Bowl from 5pm to 11pm. Proceeds from tickets will benefit the Guitar Center Music Foundation.
