After Winter Storm Fern, we knew something had to change and now, NES has announced what they plan to do so that never happens again.
They’re speeding up tree trimming and just announced which areas will be testing underground power lines. The power line program will see underground lines in 4 neighborhoods and would run from about July 2026 to June 2027. They’ll take place on Martingale Drive in Old Hickory, Pippin Drive in Cane Ridge, Robert Berns Drive and Woodmere Drive around Thompson Lane and in the Thunderbird neighborhood of Charlotte Park.
