Over in Rutherford County, some residents are being asked to reduce their water usage as we navigate through “severe drought” status.
This affects customers serviced by the Consolidated Utility District, who are being asked to refrain from using water to refill swimming pools, water lawns or use it for other non-essential activities. Meteorologists with the National Weather Service predict that we could stay in drought conditions throughout the Summer, as of now.
