Be aware of this, especially if you live in Williamson County.
There’s been an uptick in mail theft where thieves are stealing checks from outgoing mail. This is something that I feel like we see every couple of years where suspects will steal checks in an attempt to cash them.. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
If you can hand-deliver checks, that’s the safest way to do it or by bringing your check directly to a post office for mailing. Read more about this HERE
