It would seem we’ve passed the point of no-return for this weekend’s winter weather. In other words, we’re passed the point of this impending Winter Storm of just fizzling out and not happening. The time to start getting prepared is now. We’re already getting reports that shelves are emptying fast at area grocery stores, and you’ll also want to consider insulating and covering exposed pipes outside as well because dangerous cold is apart of this system. The National Weather Service here in Nashville has released its first of many notices that are going to be incoming – a Winter Storm Watch which goes in effect 6pm Friday through 6pm Sunday for ALL of Middle TN. A watch simply means that hazardous winter conditions such as heavy snow, sleet or ice are going to be possible in the next 12-48 hours. According to Danielle Breezy at News 2 – in time, this watch will be upgraded to a warning. Get ready, WINTER IS COMING!
