Down in Franklin, a new statue is ready to be unveiled!
The statue is of none-other-than Ben Franklin, of course. Many people don’t know that Franklin, TN was actually named after Ben, who was good friends with Dr Hugh Williamson, who the county is named after.
It’ll be placed across from the post office in Five Points, since he was the country’s first postmaster general and will get it’s big debut on what would’ve been Ben Franklin’s 3-hundred 20th birthday on January 17th.
