We have some absolutely amazing music teachers here in Tennessee and this just proves it!
Out of 200 semifinalists in the CMA Foundation’s Music Teachers of Excellence program, 60 of them are from Tennessee! That’s 30%!
I can’t name all 60 of them, but here are some local semifinalists:

- Michael Aymett- Riverdale High
- Trevor Baxter- Centennial High
- John Bourn- Franklin Elementary
- Johnny Croft- Cane Ridge High
