We have to shout-out somebody special out in Wilson County.
One of their longtime bus drivers was just named the new transportation director for Wilson County Schools. Bill Hoover has been a part of the district since 2002, when he started as a part-time substitute driver.. and get this.. he only did that to spend time with his daughter and be able to go on field trips with her!
He’s perfect for this director position because he knows everything about the job and what needs improvements. The district is currently looking to fill 3 bus driver positions as well as substitute drivers.
