This should help keep people safer out in Sumner County.
Out at Sanders Ferry Greenway, new emergency call boxes have been installed. Park officials say the greenways are safe already, but this is just another safety measure that will get help to people at the any moment when it’s needed. If you’re out there and need assistance, all you’d need to do is press the red button on the box and the call goes directly to 911.
First responders will know exactly where to locate the person in need too, based on which box is used. Read more about the call boxes HERE
