This new daycare is helping caregivers out tremendously.
Over in Gallatin, a new daycare called “My Happy Place” just opened for people with intellectual disabilities. They offer a bunch of options when it comes to care and have fun activities for their guests like games, sensory rooms and life-skills lessons.
Those include things like learning vacuuming, making the bed and whatever else in between. It’s all about promoting independence and confidence.
