This is just a really sweet story.
98 year old George Horne still has a good arm, and we saw that first hand after he threw the first pitch at the American Legion State Baseball Tournament for their 100th anniversary. George is a World War 2 vet and opened the tournament in Columbia, Tennessee to cheers from spectators.
George was drafted into the military in 1944 and after being discharged from the Army after the war, he joined the National Guard for 50 years. He just seems like a great guy and you can read more about him HERE
