A teen from Franklin is taking on students from across the country in the Scripp’s National Spelling Bee this week!
13 year old, Vidula Kalathur goes to Woodland Middle School and is one of 243 spellers competing in Washington DC. She’s excited to meet new people and compete!
We actually have 3 competitors from Tennessee in the Bee. Hopefully one will take home the title! Prelims are today, with quarterfinals tomorrow morning, semifinals tomorrow night and finals on Thursday night. More on this HERE
