Be aware of this if you were planning on heading to Shelby Park soon.
A sinkhole has closed one entrance to the park for a couple months. The entrance on Davidson Street was closed after severe damage to the asphalt caused some of the road to slide towards the river bank, making it very unsafe for visitors to drive on.
