Okay that’s that.. it’s happening!
Earlier this week we told you about the classroom cellphone ban bill, well yesterday it passed through Senate and now will go to Governor Bill Lee’s desk for him to sign. The law will require a policy be created in all school districts to restrict the use of electronics like cell phones, laptops, and Apple Watches in school.
Lawmakers are hoping that this will minimize distractions in the classroom and with online bullying on school campus. A lot of local districts have a policy on this already, but if not, they’ll have to come up with one by July 1st. More on this HERE
