Great news if you were hoping to head out East for Spring Break!
A portion of I-40 on the North Carolina, Tennessee state line has officially been reopened! On Saturday, one lane in each direction was opened to traffic after months of construction following the Hurricane Helene flooding.
While this is exciting, officials are warning that there will be delays on this route and they are still suggesting alternate routes. Details HERE
