How was this not our official state food already?
Some Tennessee lawmakers are pushing for Nashville hot chicken to be added to our “official” state food list, which makes perfect sense.. more sense than that weird “hot slaw” that got passed like last year that we still don’t even know what it is.
While that is trying to become official, other lawmakers are trying to get Nashville named the “hot chicken capital of Tennessee.”
