With some roads still being pretty dicey, this could come in handy today.
A local driving expert gave some tips on how to get your car unstuck if you slide off the road. First- he says that if you get stuck in a snow bank, put your car in reverse then drive, then reverse then drive to kinda rock the car gently back and forth because apparently that loosens it up from around the tires.
He also says that laying down some kitty litter or sand will help create traction, but if you don’t have that just sitting in the car, because who really does?, you can even use the front floor mats from your car to help get unstuck.
You’d lay down the mat tight under the tire that’s stuck and now you have something dry to drive over.
