- Green Day have developed and make an appearance in an upcoming film called ‘New Years Rev’, which follows a band as they travel across the country believing that they’ll open for Green Day on New Year’s Eve. The film is “based on the exploits of Green Day and their years of living in a tour van.” Front man Billie Joe Armstrong said, “Van days rule. You will drive all night on no sleep then play a show for 10 kids in a basement of a friend of a friend’s house 50 miles east of anywhere you’ve ever heard of. But you’ll do it again the next day, and the one after that. Because you’re doing it with your bandmates who become your family and it’s unlike anything you’ve ever known.” A release date hasn’t been announced at this time.

The duo were to be rescued at the end of March or sometime in April but now it looks like NASA will lift off to the ISS on March 12th. It’s not much sooner but it at least shaves off a few weeks of being stuck in space.
