Thanks to a new partnership, more Middle Tennesseans will always have somebody to call for help.
When there’s a catastrophic event, some times it’s hard to reach a 911 dispatcher because of outages, but now, Metro Nashville linked up with Fairfax County, Virginia so that your call is ALWAYS answered. Apparently our dispatchers train similarly to theirs and since they’re far enough away, chances are the same emergency won’t impact both of us at the same time so if we need help, they’ll field calls for that and vice-versa if they’re in a crisis.
