This is pretty big news for a local landmark here in Nashville.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum was just given the National Medal of Arts at the White House yesterday. This is given to those who are “deserving of special recognition due to their outstanding contributions to the excellence, growth, and support of the arts in the US.”
Out of 20 people recognized, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum was the only institution given the medal.. the rest were individuals. Details HERE
