This is just amazing.. safe to say this has been a great week for Vanderbilt sports, but now Vandy is back in the news because a graduate just got honored in a huge way.
John Jumper, who graduated from the University in 2007 just received the Nobel Prize for Chemistry because he and his colleagues “cracked the code of proteins” according to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The Nobel Prizes are given out every year to people who have made a huge impact on humankind. Details HERE
