We gotta shout some people out this morning.
Inmates at the Downtown Detention Center are going viral this morning after saving the life of a correctional officer. The officer was seen choking, which prompted the inmates to jump into action, they performed the Heimlich maneuver and were able to successfully help the officer breathe again.
They stayed with the officer until help arrived. Just an incredible moment, great job to all involved. Now, all I gotta say.. is that they better add some extra commissary funds to their accounts or something!
