Our friends over in Warren County started a new school year yesterday and with a new cell phone rule.
The campuses are now “device free” and will require students to put their phones and devices in a Yondr pouch at the start of the school day. These pouches are pretty neat, I’ve seen them used at comedy shows in the past.
Basically they have a special magnet that locks them and then at the end of the day, while students are leaving, they can hold the pouch up to a magnet at the exit to unlock their phone. Students will be allowed to have their pouch with them, this just helps keep them from being distracted by using it. Details HERE
