How fun was it to wake up early and watch the Olympics over the weekend?
If you missed it, something really exciting happened for a Nashville native. Gretchen Walsh set a new Olympic record in the 100- meter butterfly semi- final when she beat the previous record by one tenth of a second, which in swimming, is kind of a lot of time. She also was on the relay team that won a silver medal and set a new national record.
Her former school, Harpeth Hall, held a watch party to cheer her on! On Friday, her sister Alex Hall will also race in hopes to win Gold and Gretchen will be back in the water on Saturday for her next event. Details HERE
