This is pretty wild.. one of your favorite seasonings is now banned in South Korea and you’ll never guess why.
Travelers going in and out of South Korea have started to see signs in the airports warning that Trader Joe’s “Everything But the Bagel” seasoning is banned because it contains poppy seeds! Poppy seeds are categorized as a narcotic substance related item. This started to come to light after a popular blogger who visited the US returned back to South Korea with 20 bottles of the seasoning and ended up having to talk to airport officials who asked her why she was bringing the items back. She had to throw them all out before she was let go.
