Tennessee is cracking down on cyberbullies!
A new law was just passed which classifies cyberbullying just as severe as in-person harassment for Adults. This means on July 1st, cyberbullying could be a Class A misdemeanor and for school-aged children, it could mean a report is sent home with the child or there could even be a police investigation and ruling from a juvenile court judge.. all depending on the severity.
They’re hoping this new law opens up tough conversations between parents and their children about the affects of online bullying. More info HERE
