We’ve talked all about safety kits and things like that, but with yesterday’s storms, maybe you had some questions on what to do if you’re driving when a tornado hits.
Luckily, this list helps spell the plan out. They say never try to out drive a tornado and to immediately take shelter in a nearby building, if possible. If you’re caught in the car, park out of traffic lanes, stay inside it and keep your seatbelt on with your head down.
Also, unlike in the movies, you aren’t supposed to get under an overpass or bridge for protection because tunnels and bridges could actually help increase the speed of a tornado’s wind. More tips HERE
