Clarksville is one of the fastest growing cities in Tennessee.. it always comes up on those national lists, but this is pretty crazy.
If the growth continues at this rate, Clarksville will need 5 new schools in the next 10 years. The COO for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System says that over the next decade, they’d need to find capacity for about 7 thousand new students. They’ll open an elementary school in 2026, another elementary school in 2028 and then another in 2031.
After that, in the mid 2030s, the district is considering adding a middle and high school to one of the new elementary campuses. Details HERE
