This is incredible news.. billionaire Mackenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Jeff Bezos, has been giving back to organizations across the country. Recently donating more than $600 million as part of her “Yield Giving” effort and a Middle Tennessee nonprofit made her list of recipients!
The Nashville Food Project received a $1 million gift from Mackenzie this week! The nonprofit collects food that would otherwise be thrown away, which is then used to make 6,000- 7,000 meals each week to share with other organizations in the community.
