The average frost free date in Middle Tennessee is typically around April 13th to 20th. Right now is a good time to plant things like kale, cabbage, lettuce, cauliflower and broccoli. You’re gonna want to wait until after that frost free time for more summer crops like watermelon, tomatoes, squash and sweet corn.
