There’s something new at the Nashville Zoo!
A new baby Tamandua pup was just born, which is the zoo’s first successful tamandua birth in over 5 years. It’s an animal that’s similar to an anteater and skunk. They’re native throughout South America from Venezuela to northern Argentina, Southern Brazil and Uruguay.
Since the baby’s still just a week old, you probably won’t be seeing it out and about at the zoo, just yet! I’m sure we’ll have more news from the Nashville Zoo on that soon, but you can see the new baby Tamandua HERE
