Demolition is underway at a Nashville landmark.
The Genesco World Headquarters building is being torn down, as the Nashville International Airport plans to expand. The airport actually owns the building and decided to demolish it because of it’s poor condition.
An airport spokesperson said as of now there’s no plans to develop that land. The building has a long history in the community. You can learn more about the Genesco building’s history HERE
