Good news.. trash collection is coming back today for a lot of people around Middle Tennessee!
Franklin Sanitation employees will start collection 2 hours later than usual this morning due to the icy roads and they understand you’ll probably have some extra bags.. they’re asking to place the extra bags 5 ft away from the roll-out container. Nobody will be charged for extra bags.
Metro will start picking up tomorrow (Tuesday) and everybody’s schedule will be one day behind.. so if you usually have trash on Tuesday, it’ll be picked up on Wednesday and so on and so forth.
Dickson County has some drop-off locations for trash open now.
