With the end of the grocery tax holiday yesterday, a lot of families are going to be looking for help getting meals on the table, especially around the holidays.
Nonprofits like St Luke’s Community House are preparing for a possible record high number of people coming in to receive food this year.. last year, they distributed over 83,000 meals which is almost double what they’d done the year before.
They partner with Second Harvest Food Bank to provide boxes of food to families and individuals in need and they’re looking for volunteers and donations.. you can find that info HERE
