It’s been around for years and years (1953 to be exact) – one would even think you’ve probably got a can of it hiding somewhere at your house right now. Talking about WD-40. It seems it has a million uses, it’s a lubricant, it helps prevent rust, it even displaces water should the need arise. I sprayed a little on a door last night because the latch was making a horrible screeching noise if I didn’t turn the doorknob when shutting. Now thanks to my handy dandy can of WD-40, I don’t hear that noise anymore. But it got me to thinking, what else could you use this stuff on that seems a little less conventional? So, I went digging and found 9 uses (some a little weird) for WD-40 around the house, all according to an article by Life Savvy. Check it out:
Bug Repellent
WD40 to Clean Crayon Marks on Walls
Bathroom Cleaner
Keep Garden Tools Rust-Free
Remove Sticker and Label Residue
Shine Patio Furniture
Remove Scuff Marks from Floors
Unfreeze Door Locks
Clean Stainless-Steel Appliances
Is there something you’ve used WD-40 on before that seems a little weird or unexpected? Has it ever gotten you out of a tight jam? The best part of doing this blog is hearing from you, so be sure to leave your comments! – Butter
