If there’s 1 holiday every year that I really don’t care much about, it’s Valentine’s Day. Guessing that happens when you’re single like a Pringle like me. And since we’re less than 2 weeks from the big day, I thought it would be nice to share some interesting fun facts about it. These come by way of Lifestyle Asia:
– Valentine’s Day may have been derived from a Roman fertility festival to help women increase their fertility

– 250 million roses are produced in the United States each Valentine’s Day

– receiving one stalk of roses signifies love, but giving two or 15 roses means an apology
– Richard Cadbury introduced the first box of heart-shaped chocolates in 1868
– 36 million boxes of chocolates are sold each year
