January is National Mentoring Month, so there’s no better time to get involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee!
Every January, BBBSMT shines a light on the critical role that mentors play in the lives of local youth, helping shape brighter futures and building stronger communities.
Current mentors (Bigs) are doing great work in our region, but the need for more volunteers is urgent. One in three kids in America grow up without a sustained, positive adult mentor, and here in Middle Tennessee, more than 100 young people are on the waitlist for mentor who can help foster growth, confidence in success in their lives.
That’s where you come in! It doesn’t take a lot to make a big impact. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, exploring a new hobby, or simply showing up, mentorship is more achievable – and more needed – than ever.
